I am a huge fan of the Biggest Loser, it sure is a fantastic show where people lose so much weight. As someone that has personally struggled with weight loss all her life, I know how hard it can be. The show has brought a lot of attention on what I call the biggest loser diet. Today I would like to take a closer look at their specific diet. I became determined to start cooking these fantastic dishes at home, and started by searching the internet for biggest loser diet. Unfortunately I was overwhelmed with my results. Just about everyone seemed to claim to have the "secret" recipe. How was I to know which was the real one? So I started picking a few and started cooking. I was trying to recreate recipes from places like Red Lobster, The Olive Garden, and so forth. I really appreciated my wife's patience, she helped me cook so many of these dishes, and it seemed like just about everything we tried just didn't taste right. The Biggest Loser TV show certainly has inspired a lot of people to start diets, but is the biggest loser diet really the best choice for someone at home that wants to lose weight? In my opinion, no. It is based on eating the right food and exercise. It suggests that people eat four fruit and veggie services per day, three servings of protein, two servings of whole grains, and an additional 200 calories of "bonus food". The problem I have with this diet is that although it is good, there are some out there that may be a better fit for you. I have personally had the most success with the popular weight loss program, Fat Loss 4 Idiots. Losing weight is about more then just eating right, and this is the program that finally helped me get in shape.
